This brochure introduces our new product Ferroxtag and explains the principal benefits over other tags when using it in the food supply chain. Ferroxtag is a HF tag (operating at 13.56 MHz) suitable for operation attached to metallic items and in the neighbourhood of liquids. As food almost always contains water, this is an absolute necessity. Metal can play a role in the form of sealing foils or kegs. Due to the ferrite antenna, Ferroxtag also has a considerable reading range.
